Challenge: The client required backyard/patio shade solution without compromising the aesthetic appeal.

Solution: Solarus installed a cassette type retractable awning to minimize the intense sunlight and enhance the patio’s appearance.

This home features two awnings, one with a width of 28’ with a 12’ projection with lights and an EZ-Pitch facing the water and the 2^nd awning features our crossarm construction, which allows for your projection to be greater than your width. It is available in widths ranging from 8′ to 13′ 5” and is only available with 12′ projection arms. Shorter projection can be adjusted by the installer.

This home fabric is called Paxton Dew by Sunbrella and is located in the Meridan Marina area of Palm City, Florida. The awning beautifully complements the stunning pool and exterior paint color..
